The Maria 40-piece set is created as an extended table setting for six people, bringing together the essential dinner cutlery with additional pieces for dessert and serving. This allows Maria's flowing contours, polished surfaces and distinctive balance between soft and more pointed forms to continue naturally through different moments around the table.

Designed by Norwegian designer Odd Leikvoll in 2014, Maria draws inspiration from the movement of waves in the Hardanger Fjord. The collection combines soft, flowing lines with more defined transitions, creating a subtle tension within otherwise gentle forms. This contrast gives Maria a character that feels expressive yet approachable, while remaining distinctly Scandinavian in its restraint.

Maria is characterised by the meeting of soft and more sharply defined forms. This is especially visible in the knife, where the handle appears to embrace the blade and creates a deliberate tension between rounded and pointed elements. Rather than relying on ornament, the design finds its identity in contour, proportion and the transition from one form to another.

Maria is made from 18/10 stainless steel with a polished finish and is dishwasher-safe. The polished surface emphasises the collection's flowing contours, while the carefully balanced proportions contribute to the comfortable grip that is central to the Maria design.
