Baltic

Baltic brings a more classical voice to the Robbe & Berking table. Designed by Robert Berking, its silhouette is clean and composed, with precisely defined corners at the ends of the handles giving the collection its distinctive character. The highly polished surface catches the light, while the restrained geometry keeps the expression timeless rather than ornamental — a meeting of traditional table culture and modern precision.

Baltic has found its place in dining rooms where classical hospitality is interpreted with contemporary precision. At the Michelin-starred restaurant Hilmar at Schlosshotel Münchhausen, chef Stephan Krogmann serves cosmopolitan cuisine grounded in classical French craftsmanship against a setting of historic architecture and modern luxury. Baltic also appears at Buchholz Gutshof Britz in Berlin, where former star chef Matthias Buchholz brings a relaxed approach to refined regional cooking, as well as at petit bonheur in Hamburg and Brasserie la Source at Château Attisholz in Switzerland. Different kitchens, different rooms — connected by the same attention to how a table is composed.

Baltic was designed by Robert Berking, continuing the design culture of the family-owned Flensburg silver manufactory. Rather than using decoration to create identity, Berking works with proportion, polished surfaces and the precise geometry of the handle. The result has the familiarity of classical cutlery, but with enough definition to make Baltic immediately recognisable.

Look closely at the ends of the handles. Baltic avoids the soft curves found in many classical patterns and instead finishes with clean, defined corners. It is a subtle intervention, but one that changes the entire character of the collection: the polished steel feels architectural, precise and quietly formal while remaining comfortable and balanced in the hand.

Baltic is made from high-quality 18/8 stainless steel and finished with a polished surface. The brilliance of the steel emphasises the clarity of the silhouette and gives the collection a more formal presence around the plate. Dishwasher-safe and designed for regular use, it brings the visual language of fine table culture into a material made to live with.
