Series guide
Kristin was designed by Odd Leikvoll and launched in 1994. The series is known for its openwork handle, created after it was considered difficult to make holes in the shaft of steel cutlery.
Kristin takes references from Norwegian woodcarving around the Hardangerfjord and from traditional silver cutlery. The design translates carved ornament and historical table objects into a stainless-steel cutlery series.
The Kristin collection includes cutlery sets, serving pieces, salad pieces, cake pieces and supplementary cutlery parts within the same design language.
Kristin is made from stainless steel with 18% chromium and 10% nickel. The steel composition is used by Hardanger Bestikk across its cutlery series.
Kristin cutlery can be washed in a dishwasher. To preserve the polished surface, rinse the pieces after use and dry them after washing rather than leaving them damp.
