Canteen is a stainless-steel cutlery collection designed by Laura Bilde for Service Projects. Inspired by ancient architecture and traditional building methods, the series is shaped through simple, sturdy forms intended to become a lasting part of everyday routines. The design has a confident architectural presence without relying on decorative detail. Controlled proportions and a deliberate sense of weight give each piece a calm, practical character that works naturally across both informal meals and more considered table settings. The forks and spoons are crafted from 18/10 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. The knife blades use SS420 stainless steel to maintain a sharp, precise cutting edge. Canteen reflects Service Projects’ approach to everyday objects: useful designs made to be handled, used and allowed to gain character over time.
