Atlantic-Brillant

The design remains Wilfried Moll’s Atlantic, but the atmosphere changes completely. Atlantic Brillant keeps the same balanced proportions, clear profile and softly rounded handle ends while replacing the quieter matt expression with a highly polished stainless-steel surface. The form stays restrained; the light becomes part of the design.

Because the polished surface continuously reflects its surroundings. Porcelain, glassware, candlelight, daylight and even the colours of the food appear in the steel as the table changes. Atlantic Brillant is therefore not only defined by its shape, but also by the room, light and objects around it.

Atlantic was designed by Wilfried Moll for Robbe & Berking. His approach gives the collection a distinctive yet controlled silhouette, with balanced proportions and softly rounded handle ends. In the Brillant version, that same design is given a highly polished finish, creating a more luminous expression without adding ornament.

Atlantic is used in a number of distinguished restaurant settings, including Michelin-starred dining rooms. Its strength lies in a design that has enough character to give the table identity while remaining restrained enough to let cuisine, porcelain and the wider dining environment take the lead. Atlantic Brillant brings that same design language into a more reflective, light-responsive finish.

The essential difference is the surface. Both versions share Wilfried Moll’s Atlantic form, but Atlantic Matt softens and absorbs reflections through its brushed finish, while Atlantic Brillant reflects the room around it through a highly polished surface. One feels quieter and more tactile; the other more luminous and responsive to light.
