The 24-piece Velvet set reduces the collection to its essential place setting: knife, fork, spoon and tea spoon for six guests. With very little visual noise, the sinuous lines and balanced proportions become easier to notice, giving the table a refined but relaxed character.
Because the visual language is controlled and fluid. Sambonet gives Velvet a substantial 4 mm thickness, yet the flowing silhouette prevents the pieces from looking heavy. The result is an interesting contrast between physical presence in the hand and visual softness on the table.
