When designing for the table, the focus is balance, restraint and the feeling of holding something that already belongs in your hand.
H-Art turns a familiar symbol into a functional design detail. Across six place settings, the heart-shaped end of each handle appears quietly beside the plate, giving the table a romantic identity without relying on applied decoration.
Because the heart is built into the silhouette itself. Sambonet combines the distinctive handle ending with flowing, essential lines, so the collection remains clean and contemporary even though its central motif is unmistakably romantic.
Repeated across twenty-four pieces, it can. The heart-shaped base becomes a visual rhythm from one place setting to the next, creating recognition and continuity while leaving the rest of the table free for porcelain, glassware and food to define the atmosphere.
The geometry of the heart-shaped base is more than decorative. Sambonet designed it so the knife can be positioned perpendicular to the tabletop, turning a small signature detail into a functional part of the way the place setting can be composed.
At this scale, the design remains close enough to notice in the hand. Each guest encounters the same heart-shaped signature through the knife, fork, spoon and tea spoon, making H-Art feel less like a decorative theme and more like a small recurring gesture throughout the meal.
