18/10 stainless steel. Monobloc / solid-handle table knives. The carefully finished stainless steel brings clarity to the collection’s lines, proportions and decorative details, creating a refined play of light across the table.
When designing for the table, the focus is balance, restraint and the feeling of holding something that already belongs in your hand.
In the 75-piece Complete Collection, Flat extends beyond twelve individual place settings and into the shared act of serving. A serving spoon, serving fork and soup ladle carry the same restrained geometry into the centre of the table, connecting private dining with the communal movement of food.
Because they introduce a different relationship between object and guest. The individual pieces belong primarily to one person, while the serving spoon, fork and ladle move between everyone around the table. Flat therefore becomes not only a place-setting design, but a language for sharing.
Flat is particularly suited to that challenge. Its identity comes from clean proportions and restrained surfaces rather than decoration, so even a complete twelve-person setting can remain visually disciplined. The number of objects grows, but the design keeps them reading as one coherent system rather than as visual clutter.
Scale gives a minimal design nowhere to hide. On the larger serving forms, the relationship between handle, width and functional end becomes easier to read, showing how much of Flat’s personality is carried by proportion alone. What feels subtle beside a plate becomes almost sculptural at the centre of the table.
When the same design connects every stage of the meal. The Flat Complete Collection provides twelve settings with table and dessert pieces, then extends that language into serving with a spoon, fork and ladle. The result is continuity from individual plate to shared dish — more function without adding a new visual vocabulary.
