The lines are direct and balanced. Each piece carries a graphic clarity shaped by Scandinavian design principles.
Per Finne is a Norwegian industrial designer whose work is defined by a close attention to proportion, function and the way an object feels in the hand.
“From a design perspective, cutlery has a very intriguing relation between form and function. To me it’s important that it’s balanced equally.”

The Tina Cake Set brings together dedicated cake forks with a matching cake server, allowing the collection's precise lines and polished modernist expression to continue into the dessert table. The smaller forks and elongated server create a coherent setting for cutting, serving and enjoying cake while preserving the distinctive character of the Tina collection.
The Cake Set translates Tina's almost geometric design into pieces created specifically for cake and dessert. The smaller forks retain the collection's architectural clarity in a more delicate scale, while the cake server gives the clean lines and controlled proportions more space to unfold. Function and form remain closely connected without relying on ornament.
Designed by Norwegian designer Per Finne in 2010, Tina is rooted in modernist principles and Scandinavian design. Its expression is precise and functional, yet subtle curves soften the almost geometric forms. The result is cutlery in which proportion, balance and clarity become the defining elements.
Tina is made from 18/10 stainless steel with a polished finish and is dishwasher-safe. The polished surface allows light to emphasise the clean contours and controlled geometry of the pieces, while the durable stainless steel makes the set suitable for both regular use and more celebratory occasions.
Tina was designed by Norwegian designer Per Finne for Hardanger Bestikk and introduced in 2010. Finne's approach places particular emphasis on function, balance and clarity of form. In the Cake Set, that modernist design language extends into the shared ritual of cutting, serving and enjoying cake around the table.
