The Sanna Dessert Set is created for serving dessert to six people and includes six dessert spoons together with one serving spoon. The dessert spoons measure 17 cm and the serving spoon 24 cm. Together, the seven pieces extend Sanna's simple lines and stylised detailing into the final courses of the table, creating a coherent setting for both individual desserts and shared serving.

The Sanna dessert spoons are larger, longer and deeper than a regular teaspoon, giving them proportions developed specifically for dessert. Their form preserves the collection's calm contemporary character, while the serving spoon combines a deep bowl with an ergonomic handle designed for comfortable shared serving.

Introduced in 2025, Sanna represents a new chapter in the Hardanger Bestikk family story. The collection looks back to the character of earlier Hardanger designs while giving that heritage a contemporary expression through simple lines and a stylised pattern. It was conceived as a design rooted in tradition, yet created for new generations and new stories around the table.

Sanna takes inspiration from the apple blossom, a familiar symbol of the Hardanger region and a sign of renewal, hope and a new season. Its character combines delicacy with resilience, qualities reflected in Sanna's balance between robust construction and a softer, warmer expression. The stylised pattern carries this reference to the Hardanger landscape quietly into the design.

Sanna was created by Frida Leikvoll Meland and Per Finne for Hardanger Bestikk and introduced in 2025. The collection was conceived as a bridge between the company's design heritage and a new generation. In the Dessert Set, that story continues into the final moments around the table, where the same contemporary lines and apple-blossom inspiration accompany the ritual of serving and sharing dessert.
