The Sanna Complete Collection brings together the essential place setting with additional pieces for steak, dessert, cake and shared serving. Across the wider collection, the same simple lines and stylised pattern create a coherent design language, allowing Sanna to move naturally from the individual place setting into the different moments that unfold around the table.

Sanna was introduced in 2025 as a new chapter in the Hardanger Bestikk family story. Created for the fourth generation of the family, the collection looks back to the character of earlier Hardanger designs while giving that heritage a more contemporary expression. The result is a collection rooted in tradition, but conceived to become part of new stories and gatherings around the table.

The design takes inspiration from the apple blossom, a familiar and meaningful symbol in the Hardanger region. Its flowering marks renewal and the promise of a new season, while the plant itself combines delicacy with resilience. Sanna translates this contrast into cutlery that feels both robust and warm, with a stylised pattern that brings a subtle reference to nature into the design.

The Complete Collection allows Sanna's design language to continue beyond the essential dinner pieces into steak, dessert, cake and serving cutlery. This creates continuity across the table, where the same balance of tradition, simple lines and softly decorative detail can accompany both everyday gatherings and more celebratory occasions.

Sanna was created by Frida Leikvoll Meland and Per Finne for Hardanger Bestikk and introduced in 2025. The collection was conceived as a bridge between generations: honouring the design legacy established by Odd Leikvoll while giving it a contemporary expression for the future. Through its simple lines, stylised apple-blossom motif and connection to the Hardanger landscape, Sanna brings family history and modern Scandinavian design together around the table.
