Thebe Edition 2024

Thebe was originally designed by Folke Arström in 1944 and is presented here in an updated edition made from recycled stainless steel. The characteristic linear decoration gives the series an unmistakable modernist identity.

Folke Arström was one of the central figures in twentieth-century Swedish industrial design. His Gense work includes enduring cutlery classics such as Thebe, Focus de Luxe and Attaché.

The linear decoration gives Thebe a graphic rhythm that works particularly well with simple porcelain and modernist interiors.

The series is part of Gense's long Scandinavian design tradition, where recognised designers have combined clear function, considered proportions and durable materials.
